Life Coaching
Everybody Needs A Coach

That is a bold statement! Maybe we should say, “Those who aren’t doing so well need a coach.” Maybe the healthy and strong don’t need a coach... but then take a look at who made that statement.“Everybody needs a coach.”-Michael Jordan

Michael Jordan is perhaps the greatest basketball player in history!

Another time, Mr. Jordan, when asked in a press conference, if he would return for a last year with the Chicago Bulls, said, “I haven’t decided yet, but if Phil Jackson (his coach) doesn’t come back, I’m not coming back!”

Life coaching

EVERYONE NEEDS A COACH

Yes, everyone could use a coach from time to time... even the well-educated, the successful businessmen and women, and those who seem to already “have it all together.” In fact, 50% of my life coaching clients are just that... well educated, government and other civil servants, career-minded people, and the successful businessperson... successful but wanting more.

WHAT DO WE DISCUSS?

So, what do we talk about during these sessions? Lots of things. Here’s a short list:

1. Making the right business moves

2. Am I in the right profession/job?

3. Stress

4. Business owner challenges

5. Self Esteem

6. Hate their jobs and/or bosses

7. Situational depression

8. Couples counseling

9. Success in business

TAKE THIS TEST. SEE IF YOU FIT THE CRITERIA.

Count how many of these statements you agree with.

DON’T FAIL TO KEEP A RUNNING COUNT AS YOU TAKE THE TEST.

1.I’m successful in business but I feel there is more maybe a lot more I should be doing.

2.I’m successful but my success has waned a little bit lately.

3.My success is actually causing more challenges. I need to make some positive changes.

4.I could use another deep thinker to run my ideas past. A forward but careful thinker.

5.Some of my biggest business decisions in life are coming up now.

6.I had a fairly significant setback recently and want to regroup.

7.I may need help rethinking some of the not-so-great decisions I made in the past.

8.I’ve actually thought of giving up what I’m doing now to pursue a different life path.

9.I don’t know if this is the right job/profession for me.

10.I feel a little stuck in my life right now.

11.I have one major thing that gives me most of my stress.

12.If I could magically redo my path in life or work, I would.

13.Stress is hurting my personal relationships.

14.I have a lot of past problems I’d like to correct.

15.I wish I could get a “do over” in my life, past, career.

16.I like my job but not necessarily the people I work with.

17.I am making repeated or at least some decisions that will have a negative effect on my life.

18.My spouse/significant other is pulling me down.

19.My spouse/significant other is kind of a “non-entity” in my life.

20.I get depressed when I work in certain areas of my life.

21.I need a break.

22.I need a fresh start.

23.  I believe I could do better than I am.

Everyone has certain problems in their lives. Agreeing with a few of these statements isn’t necessarily bad, in fact, it is probably good! We all have areas where we could do better.

The problem comes if:

A. You have one of the above statements that is negatively impacting your happiness, your profession, your life

B. You agree with more than 4 of the above test statements.

TIME FOR A COACH? HOW DID YOU DO ON THE TEST?

One of my mentors and brain-trust partner said, “No matter how well you did last year, you would have done better with a coach.”And we both know he’s right!

Some well-educated and/or successful businesspeople are hesitant to use a coach, but many years ago when I had that hesitation, my future coach said, “A coach is your quickest way to success. Why risk your future success?”,

It was the truth! I still have a coach... in fact, my coach has a coach! Everyone needs a coach.

DECISION TIME

If you could benefit from coaching, now is the time to start. If you see yourself in any of the above information, I would love to work with you... if you are ready. If you are ready, give me a call. I love to help people who are ready to level up!
